Preparation of Bills
We have a reputation for preparing excellently presented bills within the following time scales
- 7 working day turn around on bills up to the value of £50,000.00
- 10 working day turn around for bills valued £50,000.00 to £200,000.00
- Pre agreed turn around times for bills in excess of £200,000.00
Preparation of Replies
With our experience and knowledge of case law (constantly updated by way of internal work shops) we are able to quickly identify key areas and matters to narrow issues, enabling the parties a greater chance of reaching a sensible and mutual agreement on costs.
Attendance at Detailed Assessment Hearings
Having attended, literally, 100's of detailed assessments over the years, we are suitably experienced to deal with the most complex cases, however should the need arise we are qualified to instruct Counsel direct.
Advice on Costs Budgeting/Costs Estimates
Given the increasing requirements of the Courts for accurate costs budgeting and/or Costs Estimates as part of overall case management, our considerable experience in the level of costs both claimed and allowed on assessment enables us to assist and advise Solicitors at all stages of an action but particularly at allocation and listing.
Bespoke Service
We appreciate that in some instances, a firm will not wish their papers to be sent externally, and as such we are willing to attend in house whenever required. We are also willing to agree fixed fee arrangements on certain cases.
